Grater Recipe Campaign 2024|Planning & Photo Direction

For the “Grater Recipe Campaign 2024” organized by Tsuboe Co., Ltd., I oversaw the entire creative process—from concept planning to photo direction and styling.

This promotional campaign invited the public to submit original recipes using a grater, with selected entries featured on a dedicated campaign page and shared via social media. While participants were not instructed to use specific products, I designed the campaign to highlight all three of Tsuboe’s signature brands: Gokujou Oroshigane, Tsuboe no SHIRO, and irogami.

For each selected recipe, I carefully considered which product would best enhance its appeal, curating the styling and composition accordingly. Pairing each dish with the most suitable grater, I orchestrated scenes where the product’s character and the story of the recipe would visually resonate. Lighting, color balance, and tonal nuance were used to align the photography with each brand’s aesthetic.

Rather than simply documenting food, the photos were designed to evoke the joy of cooking and the beauty of daily life with quality tools—creating a brand experience that naturally connects users with Tsuboe’s world.
